Thanks to its privileged location on the most protected coast (Leeward side), PACIFIC BLUE
ADVENTURE
allows you to reach various dive spots in just a few minutes.
The dives are usually outside of the lagoon, on the reef or in the Avapeihi Pass
which is actually the best known spot on the island.
Most of our dives take place around 20-25 meters deep (65-80 feet) and are
easy enough for divers of any experience (FA'A MITI, CORAL
CITY, YELLOW VALLEY).
We also offer dives for beginners (in the lagoon : FITII'S DROP OFF or
THE AQUARIUM).
Very experienced divers (*** CMAS or Dive Master minimum) are offered more
challenging deep dives to discover an immense field of giant coral roses (THE ROSES).
Avapeihi Pass (or Fitii Pass)
It is the "not to miss" spot of Huahine, as well as one of the most
beautiful dives in the Society Archipelago.
You will find here a large variety of fish concentrated in very tight schools.
The different conditions of current and visibility can change this dive from
day to day, so that after thousands of dives made on this site, every day still offers new surprises.
Species encountered :
Grey sharks, schools of eagle rays, barracudas, jack fish, bat
fish, perch, sea-pike barracudas, dog-toothed tunas, bonitas, napoleon
fish, moray eels as well as many other beautiful multicolored reef fish.
