Huahine is located in French Polynesia (South Pacific), in the Society
Islands, between Tahiti and Bora Bora.
She
is in fact made up of 2 islands (Huahine Nui and Huahine Iti), joined by a bridge.
It is a wild and verdant island, which still keeps its authenticity.
Around 55OO
people live permanently on this island, among 8 villages.
Local
languages are Tahitian and French but a lot of people speak English (especially in the hotels and tourist activities).
Huahine is not a mass tourist destination. There are several excellent small
first class resorts and all island activities are very personalized.
Although tourism is an important aspect of our economy, you will never feel
crowded anywhere you go on the island.
If you are looking for luxury or simplicity, you will find it here
in a
place
to stay.
Although Huahine offers calm and tranquility, there are many activities
to do if you prefer to keep busy during your vacation.
